Holy sh!t, c++
Holy crap. An hour before my computer science class today, I realized that I had a project due at for class that day. I wrote 323 lines of working C++ code in 50 minutes. I never knew my hands could type that fast and accurate.
Lol, then when we were turning them in, people were like, "God this took so long!" I was just like, "Yeah, I wrote mine in 50 minutes before class today..."
It was so funny to see their expressions.

Re: Holy sh!t, c++
I seem to type faster if I'm typing off the top of my head or I already know what I'm doing. But if I have to read and type at the same time, I go a little slower.
But hot damn, 323 lines in 50 minutes. Typing like a madman

its not like a story. its lines of code. so some lines maybe just a word or two, some just a bracket.

Re: Holy sh!t, c++
My school offers a C++ class...im kinda thinking I shouldve took that this year instead of Drafting/CAD (more CAD then drafting, thank god), not that CAD is bad...

I know. Back in HS, I took QBasic and Visual Basic, so I know that some lines can be really short and others can be long. I didn't get the chance to take C++ since I didn't have room in my schedule.

Re: Holy sh!t, c++
C++ is easy...
It only gets hard when you have to write it on actual paper for tests. It gets difficult then, for some reason. O_o

Lol. I don't think it's much harder, it's just so tedious when you have to write everything out by hand.
Yeah, I wish I had more computer related classes in HS. All we had in HS were "Intro to Computers" which was a history on Gates and Jobs, etc. and then an "Advanced Computers" which was learning how to use word and powerpoint... . Now I get plunged into C++ in my first year of college. Oh well, it's not that hard since I messed around a lot with BASIC when I was like 11.

Re: Holy sh!t, c++
Ahck.. that's pretty lame.. I learned that stuff in grade 3. I made web pages out of HTML in grade 4. About last year I learned a lot of C++, and I even made a 3D game.
It's tedious on paper, but it's hard to remember how you thought it would work out. If it's just a simple program, it's fine, but something huge, it gets hard. And you have to erase everything manually. AND you don't have the program helping you with syntax. Bleh. :P
