Big Bang Theory
what is your theory about how the planet came to be...and dont say the big bang explains it all...cause it's only a theory...

Re: Big Bang Theory
Well, the Big Bang Theory is a theory about the Universe, not the planet. And since I'm not sure which one you meant, I'll just answer your question anyway. I believe the Earth was formed naturally in space by rocks bombarding each other to form a larger chunk of rock, which eventually grew into a sphere and gained a lot of gravitational power.

Err, not sure that theories of creation was what was intended by this forum...

What's up with that last part? You want us to reply with what theory we believe created the universe, but not use the Big Bang theory, because it must be invalid due to the fact that it's a theory?

Well... yes, that is how planets are formed ¦¬Þ. According to Physics and laws of gravity, it works out.

Yeah, I think that's what World History really points towards, but still, this has to do with the world, so...
Maybe it was the dinosaurs that are now extinct...? Maybe all the continents just seperated because "it was time"......
I just hope this thread doesn't go into another religion arguement.

Right then.
The French have no place in the Security Council because they've been defeated in every one of the wars they've fought in the 20th century.*
Controversial and discussion-worthy enough for you? Good.

It wouldn't take several millenia for two objects to pull to one another.
Only inertia, gravity, and physical forces control movement. The gravity on Earth is massive, because Earth is massive. the gravity on a rubber band is tiny, because a rubber band is tiny. Even the moon's gravity is "large".
How do materials form in the first place? Atoms come together due to either magnetic fields or a gravity equivelant, forming molecules. The compounds/molecules will eventually grow until gravitational pulls are formed.
I'm not saying that if you take two rocks in space and smack them together that they'll stick together. Their transfer and conservation of energy from the collision, combined with the laws of inertia, would send the two rocks off in certain directions at certain velocities determined by the speed in which they collided.

How about the U.N. has no place in our world today because it is a useless debating society?
Well, it actually has a place... to look nice.

Just because it can happen doesn't mean that's how it happen.
