Unhappy New Raw 2 Footage

I never really had the highest of hopes for this game, I mean I had some interest in it, but not the greatest. After watching the first real in-game match footage, well I can't say it helped much. It's justy well...

Undertaker and Triple H's entrances are pretty sweet, I'll give them that much.

But good entrances doesn't make a good game, and the gameplay just seems well shabby.

Actually those videos look a lot better than I thought. Entrances are great, but I don't really care about them anyways. The match footage isn't bad, pretty good animation, but you still can't tell exactly how the game plays from watching a minute of footage. I wonder how well psychology is incorporated into the game, and the no blood issue (unless there is blood? but I didn't think so...) sucks, it's one of those small things I like in wrestling games. Also, the ladder match looks to be as crappy as all the other ladder matches aside from No Mercy's.

Overall, looks a lot better than I thought at least.

Well, the streams run on windows Media Player 9, and the Insider downloadable run on Quicktime 6, I believe.

Ok, I just saw them, they look outright better than WMXIX.

The Animation is great, and the speed of the game is just right imo. It's like a slower version of SD with 10x better animation. I see no problems with it.... the game looks better than XIX and SD4, and it looks like it plays better too.

But I can't pass final judgement from a movie... but that is nothing near bad. The movies make the game look better than the screenshots though, that's for damn sure.

The movies look a lot like the old ASMIK/AKI games for the N64 but with much better graphics and smoother animations, which is a GREAT thing IMO.

Yeah, I noticed that... it looks like it, but looks too good to be compared.

It will be interesting to see how the scores for this game are.

I was referring more about the speed and wrestler movement then the graphics. It looks like you might actually have to have some sort of strategy in the game instead of just a lot of punching, kicking and button mashing.
