Proof the WWE Just Doesn't "Get It"

This week's Raw astounded me. On one hand they had a spectacular match between Jericho and RVD, the best I've seen on free TV in a LONG time, and on the other hand they chose to put Bischoff vs. Shane as the main event...

Two non-wrestlers as the main event...

...

Instead of two A-List workers who get massive crowd pops...

...

and still manage to not push RVD as the top guy in the angle with Kane, even though he's facing Kane at Summerslam and just beat Jericho cleanly...

I'd like to know why the hell they brought Shane back on in the first place. They've been building for a big Kane vs RVD match for months now, and when they finally get that match, Shane's the one feuding with Kane and getting all the spotlight.

And I wonder if Jericho will win the Elimination Chamber match at Summerslam to make up for what he's had to do for the last year? I predict Nash will eliminate him though, seems WWEish enough.
