Default New Raw 2 Video Interview

Well yet another Raw 2 thread by yours truly, I don't know when a developer's interview starts off with our first goal was graphics and presentation well I don't know.

I think that he meant they were going to focus on graphics and presentation in the interview first. Not that they were actually focusing on those things as their first goal in actual game development. But I could be wrong.

In any case, I enjoyed the interview. I thought it was very informative and well done.

Wow, SPEED UP the gameplay? God, why don't they just make fighting games instead of wrestling games for now on, all the WWF/E games are way too arcadey now.

What developers don't understand is that pople who like Smackdown, ARE GOING TO BUY SMACKDOWN and not their rip off game. How developers can't see the market that the AKI games made made for wrestling sims blows my mind. They only sold millions of copies, after all.

I sure as hell wasn't. The engine ewas way too fast and it was nearly impossible to do a top rope manuever. I'm sure Smackdown fans complained, but then again they are a lower form of life anyway

The reason why the AKI games were so good was because they slowed the engine down and made it methodical, not a blur of button smashing nonsense.
