...anybody getting this game?

I am strongly considering it, but I'm a n00b to the whole MMORPG. It's good to see a MMORPG finally work under a narrowband connection

Well I WOULD pick this game up with a monthly fee... It's surely worth the money... but the game is broadband only so... no.

Do I need to remind you of PSO that has been working on narrowband since the DC days? Well anyways, I was considering buying it until I was told that you could not play online. I can't afford another monthly fee right now and PSO is still fun as hell. Anyways, if you can afford this fee (which I don't think you can't) I'd say go for it. My friend (who I met playing PSO) told me it's actually good and they update the servers often. He says they keep on adding new things to the servers and that soon they'll add fishing (sounds cool hehehe). Also, he says that if you lose an item they just make a litle research and after a day or two, if they see you are actually right, you get your item back. Seems like they have good service (Unlike Sega's service). I think I will get the game eventually, but for now I'll just play PSO and reach level 200.

I don't consider PSO a MMORPG because the missions only allow up to four players...I consider it to be more of an "Online RPG" no massive multiplayer. Some may call it MMO, but I hardly consider 4 players "Massive" (this is not a bad thing though, I still think it can be fun, just like any online game)

I would wait for FFXI if you want an MMORPG and a monthly fee.

I would love to play it, I am a MMORPG whore, but the whole monthly fee thing is in the way...

Yes, even with a job it still gets in the way. When you want to buy a car, a GBA:SP, other offline games, and pay for your social life, a monthly fee for a game is just too much for me.

In the future please edit your posts rather than posting twice in a row.

Thanks.
