Gamecube...
Thinking about selling my Cube for a ps2. I don't know, I mean, I've been loyal to Nintendo for years but recently the games just haven't been as good...I could get a ps2 if there is another price drop for it. What I want to know is first thought, are there any Gamecube games coming out before the end of the year that have online play, or LAN?

Kirby and Mario Kart both have lan, and likely online play. There already is software for kirby online but its testing cause they can only get to a max of 30 fps.

Is that that one Kirby race game? If so count me out, I heard that it only uses 1 or 2 buttons and you can't accelerate or brake.

The problem here isn't Gamecube. It's you. You need to lower your expectations and permanatley place yourself in the frame of mind of a four year old. Then everything will always be happy and great.

So true. I mean, the system's great and all, but I have just lost track of the games I guess...It doesn't help that I hated my last 3 gamecube games either, but that's probably just me, I'll be better off with a ps2.

Re: Gamecube...
i'd go with a PS2 over any console.
if your lookin for online games....
PC is best. too many great fun online games to even list.
as far as consoles go. IMO i like PS2's online over xbox. expecially with the EA sports, SSX3 and Gran Turismo 4 !... Gamecube online is nonexistant cuz nintendo fails to see what ppl want.

Meh, happens every year. It's just summer, don't let it bug you. Try going outside and getting some fresh air, or making clay sculptures, or something..
Besides, PS2 isn't getting another price drop at the price it's at... and don't expect to get a lot of money for the cube. Get yourself a job.

Gamecube is craptacular
jk
Don't lower your expectations, that's just stupid... If you think Ps2 is better, it's better.. and if you think GCN doesn't have enough to keep you satisfied, trade it in.

Re: Gamecube...
It's your choice. If you feel the future games (so far announced) don't seem to satisfy you well enough, trade it in. But you'll be missing some great games coming out eventually. F-Zero GX is one i'm wanting that comes out soon. And there are others, but i'll just stop posting now

I wouldnt judge kirby by its simplicity, I have heard extremely good things about its multiplayer (it being very, very fun). Also, supermonkeyball only uses one button, and I think many of us would agree that its a very, very fun game.

EA was quoted saying that they expect Sony to have a price drop on the ps2 near september of this eyar, probably down to $150, this is why I'm considering trading my cube in, in the first place. I can't get a job until next year.

Oh...so are you 14 or 15?
That would explain quite a bit.
