Daytona 500

It doesn't seem like many people in here like nascar, but what the hell. Well tomorrow is the 45th running of the Daytona 500 and I was wondering if anyone else is into nascar and is gonna watch it too.

I dont think anybody here is really into Nascar...I kinda like it slightly...my did likes the INDY cars more, and so do I. They are faster and neater looking. But im a little interested in Daytona because I was just there in June. You guys should've seen the Daytona USA machines they had there...20, all connected, all with moving seats, surround sound, the like. Twas quite neat.

I like NASCAR...As well as F1...

Has anyone been to a race before? I was at the Molson Indy once here in Toronto...it was a lot of fun...except one racer died during the race

Did anybody see the cool crash were the car completely left the ground.

Yes I saw that crash, I thought that it was awesome cause the whole car ripped apart, and I was really surprised that Ryan Newman the driver didn't get hurt at all.

racing is strange like that...sometimes people can walk away from horrible crashes that look like they shouldnt live through, then crashes that dont look that bad sometimes kill people...like the crash on turn 4 at DAYTONA that killed Dale Erndhardt. I remember that well, it didnt look that bad...
