Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of
the bowl of petunias as it fell was, "Oh no, not again." Many people
have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias
had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the
universe than we do now.

Jeff Hancock, a 29-year-old dentist, said he found a chunk of debris in his office. "It came through the roof of my office. It's about a foot-long metal bracket," he said.

I just heard Brian Williams say that body parts had also been found.

The space shuttles are ticking time bombs. Columbia was manufactured in 1979! The technology aboard the space shuttles is so outdated it's ridiculous. The fact is that we have the new technology to build safer and more technologically advanced shuttles, but no one wants to fund it. It's pure politics. What it comes down to is that it will take a tragic event like this to get people to wake up.
It is a sad day.

They said they have almost no clue how this could have happened. They repeatedly delayed the mission for safety and such....

I heard about it this morning. Its sad, but with old technology, it was bound to happen someday. And I heard that the other 2 major disasters occured around this time also. (Jan. 27th & Jan. 28) Interesting
