Default I doubt Lakers will make the Playoffs now, seriously

Here is the playoff picture so far

1. Dallas Mavericks 34-9
2. Sacremento Kings 32-13
3. Portland 27-15
4. San Antonia 28-16
5. Minnesota Timberwolves 27-18
6. Utah Jazz 25-18
7. Phoenix Suns 26-20
8. Houston Rockets 24-19
--------------------------
9. Golden State Warriors 20-23
10. Seattle Supersonics 19-23
11. LA Lakers 19-23

now, here's the projected end of the year picture (based off of winning percentage) And what Lakers Preformance in the season from now on would have to be to pass each team. bolded

1. Dallas Mavericks 65-17 Impossible
2. Sacremento Kings 58-24 40-0
3. Portland Trailblazers 53-29 35-5
4. San Antonio 52-30 34-6
5. Minnesota Timberwolves 49-33 31-9
6. Utah Jazz 48-34 30-10
7. Phoenix Suns 46-36 28-12
8. Houston Rockets 46-36 28-12
--------------------------
9. Golden State Warriors 37-45 19-21
10. Seattle Supersonics 37-45 19-21

So, basically, Lakers have 12 more losses to go before they don't make it to the big dance. They are also on a 2 game losing streak as we speak. I guess the four peat ain't happinin'

So awesome. I hope they're home for the playoffs.

Packers - didn't win superbowl
Yankess - didn't win world series
Lakers - won't win nba title
Red wings - ........3 our of 4 ain't bad.

Hmm, this does make me very happy. The Sixers are slipping though, and they'll probably make the playoffs, but also probably make an early exit.

Yeah I think everyone is enjoying this. And especially since the Mavericks are at the top, I love it even more. Wooooooo!

mavericks have yet to prove they can play with the elite teams in the nba... They havent beaten any of the following teams this year and have played them all... pacers, lakers, kings, san antonio.. all of which the mavs have lost too...
Lakers can still make the play offs i guess... they jus gotta pull it together...

Just an interesting fact... michael jordans bulls went 71-11 in one season thats even better than the mavs projected outcome..

no, MJ's bulls went 72-10 in 1996. 39-2 at the United Center.

Lakers will manage they always do. They had a rough start, with shaq out and all. But now they are back up to speed. GO LAKERS!
