C-E:

Capcom ship Resident Evil 2 and 3.

GameCube versions of the 2 games have suddenly appeared in shops all over America. Apparently, the games are both direct ports of the Dreamcast versions. Also, they are not selling at a reduced price, but at a full $49.99, contrary to earlier reports.

I saw this at Capcom.com a long time ago. They were selling both of those games for the same price as REmake. Honestly I think that's a bit too much, I mean they're just ports of psx games...not upgraded at all. Seems like Capcom is ripping us off.

I'm surprised, because they didn't sell the ports on DC for $50. They're worth 50 to the people who haven't already played it, but I have a feeling they will hit the clearance rack rather quickly.

$40 tops, $30 recommended, and $20 after a few months. $50... only hurting themselves.

$50 is pretty harsh. I'll wait for the clearance when people don't buy it. I would get RE3 since I haven't played that yet, but the price is too high.

Funny, I always thought they said it was 40 dollars. No worry, the price will drop fast at that rate.

They're only $40 at EBGames. $15 for the PSX versions.

Though, the GC versions have better boxart.

So wait... to get both you need to pay $100 american? I find it hard to believe they're too lazy to put them both on one disc. It can definitely be done.

That's insane! I tought that MAYBE code Veronica would reach a similar price. But even then not even Code Veronica should reach that price. Perhaps $30.00 for Code veronica, but not more.

That's stupid... A year or two ago they released ports on DC for 20 bucks each, and now the games are even older and they sell ports for 50 bucks? bleh... I was gonna maybe buy them if they were cheap, but looks like I won't be getting them anytime soon

RE3 and RE2 on gcn are basically made for the stupid nintendo fanboy who has refused to play them on any other system, so they can waste their $49.99 and experience for the first time what we have all already experienced 3-4 years ago
