DOAX receives official ESRB rating
Say hello to a nice round juicy M, gentlemen.
Suprised? Here's the full story: http://gaming-age.com/cgi-bin/news/n...=1&nid=9-16.db
In the least bit I can't say I'm suprised but I do wonder if I'll still be able to buy it and get it past my parents.
Any thoughts? Are any of you buying it like I am?

Surprised they need to add a hormone warning for the freaks that buy this game "for volleyball".

Not only that it's a volleyball game with DENNIS RODMAN as Zack. And Tecmo PLEADED him to do it.
I actually go for the expansive environments and the pixel-shading bump-mapping. I also go for the deep character development, involving graphics, addictive gameplay, and stupendous camera angles. Seriously, why else would I play it..?

Unlike BMXXXX this game doesn't need to hide behind it's mature rating. I have read previews, this will be the best volleyball game.

there you have it, folks...rated 'M' for More reasons to Masturbate
I'll probably rent the game...it sounds like a decent game unlike BMXXXX (which btw, didn't sell for sh*t...32,000 copies and counting )

I'll probably try it. Don't have high hopes though, meaning I'm not all hyped for it.
My main concearn with the game is that they've showed mostly FMV. That reminds me of Final Fantasy, and I found out the gameplay sucks.
But I'll give the game it's fair chance. I like volleyball games.

DOAX, unlike BMXXX, does NOT need to hide behind any Mature Rating or sexual theme.
DOAX actually has more than scantily-clad women; drop-dead gorgeous visuals, beautiful enviroments, bump-mapping and pixel-shading that no other console can produce, amazing lighting and shading, awesome character models, unreal facial animation, a great particle system (objects blowing in the wind, sand being kicked up, etc), a realistic physics system (hair, clothes, volleyball net, etc actually move), real-time weather effects, a great camera system, unmatched volleyball gameplay, and hundreds of secrets and extras you can earn.
A much better effort than that of SEGA's Beach Spikers for Nintendo GameCube.

Well, yeah, that's nice and all, but...
I would really like to see at least one in-game screenshot before the game is released.

Whoop-de doo. DOA3 looked nice too, but the problem was the whole fighting series sucks-ass. Same thing with Oddworld, and let's not remember that people said Shrek looked great too. I forget, how many actually bought it? 3 people?

Beach Spikers kicks ass, and if the game is fun, nothing else matters.

Knock yourself out. In my own opinion, the CGs look worse than in-games. You've been seeing nothing but in-game models the whole time, and that's a compliment to great hardware. My sig right now is an IGM, believe it or not.

I think what most people meant was gameplay. If what Ive been seeing was gameplay (posing for the camera and various camera angles, then this game will be impossible. : )
