Or maybe they just wouldn't get made because it would cost too much for the companies to maintain the servers and such on their own...
But meh I dunno...

not exactly,
a server is really not much differnt from just having a computer with a brandband and leaving it on 24/7
i understand where they're comeing from for thoes massive mulitplayer online games. cuz its meant to be played on thier main server.
but for this? this no reason for it. it doesnt save characters and such. and its only 4 players? what reason does this game have for a online fee?
same with sports games. theres just no reason for it. and the trend is more and more games are doing it. and i refuse to give even more games a reason to do it to thier stuff.

4 players per game is plenty. Have you ever played PSO?
Online fees are there because PSO was played by more people, and for longer than any other console game. You think it's cheap keeping 100,000+ users happy for over a year while GameShark users keep hacking new codes?

I think I'm gonna have to get this when I get some more monies. I didn't expect EGM's scores to be so high. I was personally a little surprised. ON the note about fees. There are a lot of things being done to keep PSO alive and kicking 24/7/365. Its only about $9 a month, but if you just can't pay it for some time, just cut it off and play offline with 4 friends. That is if you have "friends"

Will the first month be free, like in japan? I sure hope so. Well, I have some people to play the game with until I create an account for the game anyway. But it would kick so much arse if they let you play the first month for free.

In some magazines it got 6 and similar scores because of bad graphics, sound and frustrating gameplay and atmosphere. I might give it a test tho.

Yes...
You're not going to be bored with PSO in a month, though. Well, I know I won't...

Predicts that DH will go on a rant saying that it is so hard to get a job where he lives because places want experienced people... Then he will say, "how do I get experience when people won't hire me?"
