2D sonic or 3D sonic
would you rather have a brand new 2D sonic game released on xbox, gamecube, or playstation 2.
or would rather see a sonic adventurer 3 released on a next gen console. (xbox, gamecube, playstation 2)

Sonic Adventure 3! I love playing platformers in 3D! If a SA3 does come out, I am buying it... As for Sonic Advance 2, I don't think I am getting it.

I'd MUCH rather see a 2d Sonic. But I wouldn't mind SA3
I just miss the old 2 player teamwork with Sonic and Tails (Sonic 3 only)... maybe if there were a new Sonic there could be a 4 player multi play game.. (Sonic. Tails, Knuckes, and... Shadow?)

I say there are some good and bad in both, bgut if they got rid of those damn "Emerald" search levels from Sa 1 and SA 2 and improve all of Sonic's level (I mean some of them are fairly unbalanced, I mean some give you this great sense of speed and the others well um) and ofcourse include my main man Shadow.

shadow is overated in my opinion. everyone thinks he is so badassed.
if SA3 comes to the market they should give knuckles "beat em up'" stages. i also hated the emerald stages like breakabone mentioned.
both would be awesome

2D, no questions asked!
Unless they totally change what they have done with the 3D sonics, I would totally want the next Sonic to be 2D. Sure Sonic could be made 3D, with nice fur effects, but the levels have to be 2D!
Some of the 2D capcom fighting games nowadays have really beautiful backdrops, which I'm sure would work brilliantly with a 2D sonic.

I don't mind the emerald stages, just like I don't mind Robotknicks levels (tails on the other hand *shudders*)
I think that SA3 should have nothing but Sonic levels... and level 5 should be just as hard as Sonic's last level on SA2. I also think it should have 20 levels.
Sonics levels lacked a chalenge... but if they were more challenging it would be a lot better game.

Just give me a 3D sonic with NO emerald hunting and whatnot. Just keep the pace up. Don't slow it down! Make it get faster and faster as you edge closer to the end of the game.

I would like a 3D Sonic game such as Sonic Adventure (the first one) with only Sonic as a playable character. I hated playing as Amy, e-1--whatever, and Big the fat ass Cat! Also, Tails and Knuckles were pretty cool but I'd rather have it Sonic only.

I dont think 3D quite worked as well as it could have for Sonic. Im glad to see a new 2D. I dont think the market will take it in as well though...

Man I loved the 2d Sonic......the 3d Sonic is ok...but I think it could do with some improvements..........for some reason I don't get the same feeling of speed with the 3d game. *sigh*
