*echoing voice* NOW IS THE TIME (THE topic for discussion on the NLCS and ALCS)
WWOOOO Get out the brooms, cuz Arizona's going home! Im begining to think the cardinals are a team of destiny, with the tragides and all that has happened this year. Its looking like they will be up aginst the Braves, hopefully the Giants can come back from their 2-1 deficat, cuz I hate the Braves. As for the ALCS, ive been saying it all year, you know what it is...''2002 season, the Yankees riegn is over!'' It felt great to see them lose today. I cant wait to see whats in store in the coming weeks...should be fun...
so, discuss the ALCS and NLCS here.

So its Twins vs. Angels in the AL, and Cardinals vs Braves or Giants in the NL. Hopefully Giants. We will know tonight.

So its final. Cardinals-Giants and Angels-Twins. Here is an interesting tidbit: in each of the four division series, the team with the better record in the regular season lost. Who said baseball was predictable?

LCS update...
In the American league, the Angels-Twins seires is tied 1-1.
And in the National League, the Giants have a 2-0 lead over the Cardinals. Yes, they have dug themselves a nice big hole, but yes, I think they can get out of it and still get to the world seires. They obviously need to win 2 out of 3 in San Fransisco, which I think they can do...but a not-so encouraging state came to my ear, that in the LCS, no team that lost the first 2 games AT HOME has gone on to win the series since 1969. But I think the cardinals can do it. If they dont win tomorrow, consider them offically screwed.

so yes, I do think they can and WILL win that seires. They have battled through a lot this year, why not one more thing. Now if you talk to my dad, he would think otherwise, but he is not an optimistic person when it comes to the Cardinals.

Okay, time for an update:
Angels beat Aniheim in 5 games, the Cardinals are behind the Giants 1-3...Now they have to win 3 straight games to win, while not impossible, its not very likely...
I still have hopes though...

It is the Angels vs. the Giants for the World Series. I'm rooting for the Giants because the Angels prevented my favorite team "The Mariners" from getting into the playoffs.

Well ****. This isnt what was suppoused to happen. I could go and blame the Cardinals losses on a lot of things, *cough* Rolen *cough*, but I will not, and simply say that the Giants were clicking in every way, and the Cardinals were not. That being said, I think the Cardinals are a better team than the Giants. Maybe next year though. Im pretty pissed right now, but unlike my dad who got all pissed off and started calling the Cardinals F*cking Losers, I kept everything inside. I may not look all that mad, but im going to go poke myself with a sharp stick right now.
