Default GCXL and NinFire Merger

I figure no one cares. But here's the detail about the merger and I guess the boasting of the site gettning alot better after the merger.

meh

With all of these seperate Ideas, plus infinite more, this merger site is looking at a userbase upwards of 10000-20000 people. And this is within a couple months of this merge.

This site will not only rival PGC, it could easily put a dent in IGN traffic. With IGN updating once a day near 8 PM, a site that updates hourly and more then PGC could easily take the GCN website market by storm

Yeah! I want to see that

Well, their total mermber count for the forum is less then 4,000. I doubt many of those people post. I would suppose only 2,000. Actual readership may bounce back to 4,000.

PGC on occasion gets more votes in their polls then that.

These people are idiots, something I've known all along.

For one, they're still trying to compare themself to IGN and PGC. Using those sites as a standard, meaning that they're still trying to be as good as those sites, meaning they're still far from it. You don't see Gamespot comparing themself to IGN, do you? They actually think they can pass PGC, and they're still wannabes.

PGC is the largest "fan site" out there, getting 10x the traffic of the next biggest one I know of. I put "fan site" in brackets, because it's hard to even call it a fan site. Billy runs PGC for a living, it's what pays the rent.

They can talk all they want about passing up IGN and PGC, but it's not going to happen. And in the slight chance that it ever does, expect to see a closing letter saying they can't afford it anymore.
