Do you clean your consoles?
Man, oh man. I was cleaning the main floor of my house yesterday ($50 for doing so ) and I decided to clean my PS2. And boy, it was dirty. There was a bunch of dust on the top and sides (it doesn't get moved too often). So, I busted out by "Pledge for Electronics" cleaning spray, and it worked wonders. The top and bottom were easy, but the front was hard. You know, the PS2 has groves in it, so I had to grab some Q-Tips to clean it. But, the hardest part (and most dirtiest) of cleaning my PS2, was cleaning the fan. First off, it was dusty like an old mirror in the attick(sp?). I just sprayed the spray on the Q-Tip, and started to clean.
Now my PS2 looks brand new. And hopefully I helped it out by cleaning out the fan. So, I was just wondering if you people clean your consoles? I think we all should, especially the fans.

I've seen my friends PS2's and good lord, the fan screen thing is just covered in dust:eek: (like you said) But for my 'Cube, the most I've had to do so far is just do a quick swipe with the back of my hand on top to get the dust off.

I have noticed a little dust in where the fan is...in between the little holes...I should get a q-tip or something and clean it out...but meh...as long as it isnt overheating...

Well, I just get my kirby hoover and quickley swipe over the areas with grooves/holes, and I just use a cloth with some jiff and swipe the sides/top.
I do it every 3 weeks .

I clean it if it looks dirty... Ps2 and N64 for some reason get dirty very fast.

Probably just cuz they're black so you can see the dust...
I usually just dust off my systems...once in a while, like maybe once every 3 months, I clean near the fans...
