The Assassin's Creed Series
So, I just realized I beat Revelations last week, and did the whole new game buying thing, and worked the midnight launch.
Anyway I'm not sure people ever even talked about these games on the boards, but I'm sure if they did we would have seen:
Pre-AC1:
This game looks fucking sweet, I love killing people all stealthy like with swords and shit.
Post-AC1:
Wow man this game had so much potential, it's pretty, hidden blades are fucking cool, being an assassin is fucking cool, why does this game suck? Shitty Missions repeating over and over. FUCKING BOOOOORING!!!
So if everyone was like me the AC games slipped out from your radar after you played the atrocity that was AC1.
Well about 4 months ago I had a friend beg me to play AC2 because it was nothing like AC1.
Well for those of you who were like me, I will say... It's nothing like AC1 in oh so many good ways. I enjoyed every minute of 2. You start off as a baller named Ezio Auditore, and you remain a complete baller the whole game. Missions are diverse and interesting, it's set in motherfucking italy, LEONARDO FUCKING DA VINCI is in the game and he is a baller. At some points in the game you are so baller you are actually balling out of control. You're a baller seeking revenge for the murders of your family and in the process you just ball off the fucking wall.
Then you have brotherhood, where once again you are Ezio... AKA A BALLER!!!
Then you have revelations where you are... you guessed it A BALLER!!!
Seriously though. There are 2 things ubisoft is good at:
1. Making shitty DRM that is shitty and fucks everyone.
2. Listening to people when they say "Ay yo... Your game sucks. Just thought you should know" Then turning that shit the fuck around.
So seriously if you've only played AC1 and thought "Meh this game is trash," do yourself a favor and go pick up a copy of AC2. At the very least beating the game gets you like 700 points in the achievements department.
