Default Assassin's Creed

I'm not just talking about the first one now but the series as a whole. I finished the first one and then the series just kinda got away from me. Has anyone been keeping up with the series after that? II is getting on the cheap now so I was considering checking it out but it always seems like more of the same with some minor improvements on the gameplay so I don't know if I really want to invest my time in on that.

Assassin's Creed II is about a bajillion times better than the first one.

The first one is fun, but extraordinarily repetitive. AC2 changed everything that was wrong with the first...I highly recommend it. The difference is like night and day.

Have you tried out Brotherhood?

I own it, but I haven't played it. My girlfriend is much more into the series than I am, and she has played through all three. From the looks of it Brotherhood is mostly like AC2, but they added in some fun features like riding a horse in the city, being able to build up your own assassin's guild, summoning assassin's to kill someone for you, and giving you more options on how you handle the assassination scenarios.

Plus there's the multiplayer mode, which I've heard is fun.

II was one of my favourite games ever and Brotherhood was a massive letdown. Extremely disappointing. Don't bother with it unless you find it for cheap.

The first one was merely ok but really doesn't stand up all these years later.
