Default Splinter Cell on Cube

http://cube.ign.com/articles/360/360950p1.html

Hmm... me surprised. I thought Xbox grabbed exclusive rights to this one for consoles. Xbox gets it first, followed by the PC version. But now GC early next year? Weird.

Ahem Nintendo. Keyboard and mouse please

Er... isn't this VERY old news? I thought it was cleared up that the Xbox only got 'temporary' exclusive rights. In this case, I think it's just till the end of 2002.

But any, I guess you should just get it for the PC if you want to play with a mouse and keyboard .

Or, you could just play with the keyboard/joypad on the cube .

Ya, I looked around for more articles.

Xbox has exclusive console rights through 2002. MS paid Ubi Soft to announce the game to mislead people that it was Xbox exclusive to help hype Xbox at E3.

Hmm... is it just me, or does this industry seem really immature?

Nintendo has a really weird controller coming out for its online games. It looks like a combination of a ketboard and a controller. Basically it looks like a keyboard with half a controller on either end. I can't find a pic right now, cause I'm at work, but when I do I'll post it.

I can't decide whether or not its a really cool idea, or really dumb cause yor hands will be so far apart while using the controller functions. I haven't seen a mouse yet though.

Do you have a link or fact or something official to support that?

It was somewhere on CVG. Found the link at TeamXbox, so I doubt it's false since Xbox fans posted it.

But I have no clue what thread it was in, cause it's kinda a popular place, so no, not unless you wanna go search for the article on CVG.

If you look at the words in one of the announcements, the guy says something like '... exclusive for the Xbox in 2002'.

I think that would mislead a lot of people into thinking that it is totally exclusive for the Xbox, but really it's a play on words.
