prE³ thread
E³ is only about 2 weeks away. Slowly more news is coming in to prepare us for what looks like will be a much better show than last year.
First up is Nintendo with news and movies on their Wii Sports Resort.
http://www.cubed3.com/news/12320
They revealed 2 more sports: table tennis and golf. You can see the gameplay in the link. Somebody said they confirmed 10 sports, so I hope they include more original Wii Sports.
Anticipation is also building. I'm quite sure that we'll see Zelda in motion. Would it be too much to hope for a holiday 2009 release? [I'll answer that: yes, don't expect it before spring 2010.]
What E³ games are you looking forward to?

Re: prE³ thread
I'm looking forward to the secret Wii game announcement that retailers were supposedly told to make room on the shelves for the holiday season. But I fear that that announcement was actually Red Steel 2, which looks awesome to me, but means that there's no big surprise.
Really, E3 has always been about surprises to me. Bring on the games we don't know about.

Mass Effect 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Saboteur for the most part.

Re: prE³ thread
I havent been paying attention to anything lately.
Plus E3 is usually a massive letdown, I just stopped paying attention.
No game has really got my attention lately, or even anything I've heard.
But I'd be stoked if there was something revolutionary released.
I'd be happy to see Nintendo take more control of the Wii, and take games in an arcade style - which is what it's best suited for.

Re: prE³ thread
What do you guys think of the rumors that both Microsoft and Sony will have motion control technology?
I think it's a stupid idea, the only thing they can do is practice a bit before the next generation. But I think the rumors could be true.

I think it is true.
Motion control technology has been around for a really long time.
The Wiimote and the Sixaxis, is already technically motion control.
Even if they try do something massive and fail, everything has to start somewhere.

Re: prE³ thread
E3 is always a major letdown now that it's reformed. Would really like to see some official stuff from Team ICO's next game.

I don't have any new systems but apparently G4 TV is going to have a lot of coverage so I may just watch some for the heck of it.

Re: prE³ thread
I want to see Starcraft 2, Zelda Wii and some other new Nintendo games. Is that too much to ask for?
