The Sears Tower will be no more..well its name that is.

It is going to be renamed Willis Tower.

I can't imagine calling it anything other than the Sears Tower. It's going to be strange.

i don't know why they would change the name...but i do know it will take several generations before anyone really calls it that.

I still call "US Cellular Field" Kaminsky Park as do many people I know. Although, sadly, "The Cell" has a catchy ring to it.

Also known as Corestates Center and now the Wachovia Center. Those crazy banks and their name changes...FU was certainly the best.

I kinda dig the Linc (or Link) though, it makes sense.

Sears really has no part whatsoever in the building anymore, so this was bound to happen really. Although the new name is terrible.
