Diablo III anyone?
So...
I don't see any Diablo III threads...
WTF?!
Am I the only person who is so excited about this game that I'm saving money to build a desktop PC with all the high tech awesome so I can run it at full glory?

Re: Diablo III anyone?
This game should be sick. I don’t care if they make it a little cartoony and change the level up systems. It’s all about the loot. And God do I love the loot.

Re: Diablo III anyone?
I actually never played Diablo 1 or 2. But this game is looking extremely sweet. I'll get it eventually, but I've got my hand in so many other games right now, Diablo 3 may have to wait a bit. And yes, I say this knowing that there isn't a release date on it yet. That's how many games I have in my queue right now.

Re: Diablo III anyone?
I'm not excited because I know blizzard is going to postpone the release date... that's what they always do. I don't expect the game to come out earlier than late 2010.
Hope I'm wrong.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand the draw of an RTS game. BAWRING. To each their own, though.
Diablo 3, though. That's something to get me excited. I should be able to max the graphics settings out but I honestly can't say I've seen any requirements posted.

Re: Diablo III anyone?
Yea, I'm more looking forward to SC2 than D3. What draws me into games like Starcraft is that it's not about gear, and that nobody starts with an advantage or disadvantage. You go head to head with somebody, starting on equal grounds and you either win or you lose based completely off your own skill or knowledge. Afterwards, when the match is over, you can close the game and do something else. No commitment required.

I agree with stinger. Seeing the perfect plan come together is the ultimate goal.

Re: Diablo III anyone?
I'm more of a fan of the cooperative player thing with the questing and... Diablo II was pure item hunting crack. I'm sure III will be too, especially since they talked about sets.

Re: Diablo III anyone?
Diablo II was a huge time sink for me and a lot of people I know. The biggest draw to continue playing (for me, loot-whoring aside) was the variety in the way you could build your characters. I always got a kick out of making odd B-tier characters purely for the sake of ridiculousness - was a lot of fun.
Having gone back for the ladder reset last June, now, more than ever, news surrounding Diablo III gets me all hot and bothered.
Any new developments outside of what's been posted on the official site?
