Odd Questions?!
well, i originally got this idea from breakabone and a friend of mine andy, when we were talking on AIM, and it was all because i asked each of them: can smoke detectors detect cigarette smoke?
it seems stupid, and i feel stupid for even asking it, but i was curious.
breakabone said i should post a thread and i didn't know of a good topic/idea, so i suggested this idea; why don't the members of gt, when they're uncertain about a question, whether it's one easily answered or an odd one, kind of like mine, post it in a thread and see what other gt members have to answer back with, and get their input.

Re: Odd Questions?!
Cigarette smoke definitely sets off smoke detectors. You weren't supposed to smoke in the common areas in our dorms yet one time some people had a smoking contest where a bunch of people tried to smoke a cigarette as fast as possible. The fire alarm went off and security had to come. We lied and said someone burned something in the oven, but it was pretty obvious.

Re: Odd Questions?!

Re: Odd Questions?!
Why are you smoking indoors anyhow?
I would be afraid of a lot more than just smoke detectors noticing it.

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Sure it does, you didn't ask if they can chuck, so he didn't answer if they could. You just asked how many, which he answered.. I think?
Really, I mean, do I?

Yes. > Short answer.
Yes. > Long answer? The emphasis on nocturnal emissions has primarily been focused on males because of a history of biased sexuality research and because there is more evidence that a guy had an orgasm in his sleep than a chick (think semen leftover in the morning).
The real question is: Is a wet dream God giving you a hand job?
I enjoy the proverbial question, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
