Street Fighter IV!

Anybody played it yet? Graphics are nice, very much like Street Fighter II Turbo style, but more balanced, still bs but ye.

ATM I'm using RYU (so damn strong), and Abel. Both are cool, Ryu evil good. Somebody played against me using Zangief , god damn he's so strong. Anti jump (all 3 punch) and throw that does heaps of damange, and 623 P! Very strong.

I urge you all to play it, it's a great game with something for casual gamers, and hardcore fighting game fans....kof may need a bit of a rest now

Ken is quite good, but top his ultra his limited range. At the mo top tier is Ryu, Sagat, Zangief. Very strong....Zangief....is evil. I got Zangiefed the other day

I heard that there was a character with an infinite combo. Sucks, I guess. I'm not much into fighters though.

yea, what arcades? and even so, i wouldnt be going there to put money in each time to play, when i can get the whole game for 360 and play that.

Ive been a Ryu player since forever, Im surprised they made him top tier for once (he was godly on ssf2t for me...as long as i wasnt facing sagat or freaking balrog...)

Actually the game is kinda like SF2T but a bit more balanced. Ryu is one of the best at the mo. Him and Abel is who i use.

The best part about the arcades is that you can challenge, draw a huge crowd and aim for multiple wins in a row ( i got 20 using Abel). If u're good u won't spend much. One night I spent $1 playing kof98 UM for a good hour or 2, i got 41wins It's a lot more atmospheric in the arcades, but whatever floats your boat.

That sounds good, I like classic, can tatsu maki's still go through sonic booms on the first few frames? is the shoryuken for ryu invincible on the way up again?.

On some videos i saw this move that looked somewhat like parrying (can we parry?) and this other thing that seemed broken and overpowered, hopefully im wrong, where you would become kind of like a golem and perform your moves despite being hit, what is that?

214 k goes through sonic booms, i think 214 HK goes through hadookens

623 (shoryuken) is invincible at core hit ya

There is no parry, you can push MP+MK together quickly before fireball comes to kind of parry it, but a small part of ur health is taken, it will regain itself pretty fast, but if u get hit while regaining u take the portion of damage.

It's called Focus attack

oh oh, one more thing, does ken's LP shoryu still have a shorter hop than Ryu's? I hated not being able to chain shoryu's with Ryu on 3rd strike, I have this lame thing that people fall into often where I LP shoryu at a distance I know it wont connect, but not far enough to be an obvious bait, as people dash in i just go up with the second one hitting them, not doable in 3s unless my opponent hesitates.

hmmm not sure the difference, i only used abel and ryu....

I think they look very similar, not sure the distance they cover
