 Wow.
Edit: Holy crap he apparently made enough money off of the first one to write a second one: Spiritual Sorrow, about an author who gets a $30 million book deal.
Also, his website:

Wow, that book scares me. I'm not even tempted to read it.
Just the quotes hurt my brain

My sister could have written that part in the quote.

Well, guys, that's certainly one way, to write a book, and a unique one, eh?

Re: The worst book ever written: "The Shadow God"
Perhaps even worse than the book is the early 90s-esque website design complete with shitty MIDI rendition of the theme from the Halloween film series.
And his self-written bio:
Quote:
Aaron Rayburn is the author of two novels (The Shadow God, Spiritual Sorrow) and a book of short stories (The Devil's Children) soon on the way. His writing talent developed over twenty-five years worth of horror movies and an extreme fascination with the macabre. His allurement with demons and the Devil grew from reading the Bible.
On the controversial issues, he stands for the Death Penalty and Abortion. A fetus doesn't have a mind. It doesn't know it's dying. A killer doesn't have a mind, either, but at least he knows he's dying.
Rayburn is currently employed as a prison guard at a maximum security prison in Ohio. You can contact him at aaronrayburn666@yahoo.com. Or, if you should feel so inclined to send fan mail: Aaron Rayburn, P.O. Box 485, Wheelersburg, OH 45694. You can also have your books autographed at the same address. Be sure to include a SASE for its proper return.
Thank you and happy reading!

Re: The worst book ever written: "The Shadow God"
A real winner indeed. In some reviews he writes (of his own books) he talks about how he "dethrones" Steven King.
