There's also a little secret in the auctions. What is this item? You'll just have to win it to find out...

Also check out the '2' in the background on the www.tu4ar.com. What does 'tu4ar' mean? An acronym for the most obnoxious theme song ever placed into a video game, perhaps? If the phrase 'Take You For A Ride' sends chills down your spine, you know what I mean.
Are we getting a rerelease of Marvel vs. Capcom 2? Maybe in sweet HD?

Well seeing how achievements have been out for a week...
I think we are getting an XBLA/PSN re-release of the game.
And I for one am stoked as hell!

Re: Take You For a Ride
MvC2 sucks.
No actually the input in that game is hella timing strict to do legit tournament stuff. As you may or may not know for most fight games 1 second contains 60 frames. Tournament legit combos are normally 2-3 frame input in Marvel. Too beastly.
Mostly the games sucks because there are only like 6 seriously playable characters tournament wise.
Storm, Sentinel, Cable, Magneto, Captain Commando, and Psylocke.
There are a few characters that are considered decent:
Blackheart, War Machine, Iron Man, and Tron Bonne. Everyone else is absolutely garbage. Basically if they don't have infinites, can't fly, and don't have anything else good besides that they are a trash character.

I'm not good at it, I just like playing it.
My timing tends to suck in general in fighting game. The average time frame for a FRC in GG is like what, 2-4 frames? I don't see how people time things down to 1/30 or even 1/15th of a second. I know some of them are upwards of 30 frames, but even that seems difficult to pull off. I'm not sure how many frames a regular RC is, but I've never really been able to pull those off consistently either.

What about for the rest of us... who just kind of play games.. to play games... and not on the basis of some random fans generating a list of what they think is acceptable...

You are the people I own online and are like "WTF this game is broke?" then you get frustrated and leave before I win and thus I don't get any points.

I remember carrying your ass in Gears of War
And no I don't complain a game is broken, I just won't play online because you find too hardcore people there.
Why do you think I pool so many people from GT to play with?

WHAT? I'm pretty sure I saved your downed ass like 5 times before I had to quit. I was like "Worms? Where?" and they were gone. You straight up ran into a ticker like 2 times.

Re: Take You For a Ride
Ignoring SlyMoogle's revisionist history, it is official.
Demo on PSN this Thursday
Quote:
This Thursday, April 30, PlayStation Network users will enjoy a free, exclusive MVC2 demo! No need to purchase another game, just download it straight to your PS3 and get ready for some triple tag team action (A big thank you goes out to Rommel Hernandez who helped make this exclusive demo possible).
Here are the details of the demo:
* Two-player local matches
* Six available characters – Ryu, Chun-Li, Strider, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine
* Seven selectable environments
* Upscaled 1080p graphics
* Widescreen or 4:3 aspect ratio
* Two graphic filter options for character sprites
* And other cool options to check out
|
We love MvC2 but the original “jazzy” music has long been criticized even by ardent fans. Independent music volume controls and support of custom soundtracks on PS3 and 360 we deemed an important feature. Purists will still have what they love and fans of customization are also served.

Re: Take You For a Ride
Bought this a couple of days ago.
Just as fun as always. Just as unbalanced as always too. But that is to be expected.
