IGN says it sucks. A bit better than Double Dash, but worse (and slower) than MK DS.

Smash is slower and dumbed down too.

If they want to make Wii Sports easy for old people and casual gamers, fine.

But they crossed the line when they decided to tinker with Smash and Mario Kart.

Maybe next generation we'll get our good games back.

Actually SSB Melee was a tad too fast for me. I always preferred the speed in the N64 version.

Oh well.

How is Brawl dumbed down? There are more movesets and levels to learn, and it's relatively the same speed Melee was. As for Mario Kart, the previews have been a disappointment. But I know I'll get it for online battle mode regardless.

I will give it a whirl.
It's sad to see Nintendo handicap themselves so much with control schemes at time.

I mean using the wiimote-chuck combo and making it for the game would have been nice. User aimed turtle shells, moving wiimote up to do tricks and still enough buttons.

Alas.

And to answer your question since got more information
-10 Battle Stages
-Up to 12 ppl
-Seems to be only two modes
-And teams

Fuck the racing wheel, I bought a third party one for Excite Truck and it sucks serious ass. I prefer controller. I can easily see how Nintendo could make the controls adapt for the wheel more though.

Sidenote: Smash Bros did feel a little slower at first but you have to realize the size of the game. It feels like the stages are bigger than Melee.

IGN can suck my dick. I didn't think Double Dash was a good game, but I still played it a lot. If it's inherently "better", then I'll probably still be playing it a hell of a lot.
