Turok vs. Crysis
If you want a good laugh, check this out. Turok's E3 trailer from weeks ago, and Crysis' trailer than was released yesterday.
Turok: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/22061.html
Crysis: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/23077.html
In other news, Turok's trailer got almost a quarter of a million downloads on the XBL marketplace, which is exceptional compared to other games.

Re: Turok vs. Crysis
I dont think its a matter of one trailer trying to copy the other, but rather both were directed to immitate popular hollywood action trailer archetypes, which are themselves severely overused.
"In a world..."
"In a time..."
"It was suppose to be..."
"BUT SOMETHING WENT WRONG!!!"

Re: Turok vs. Crysis
It's funny, our marketing was apparently trying to show how cliche the whole thing was, using extremeties, but then Crysis came along and proved that people are still serious about using it.

Re: Turok vs. Crysis
Why was the original Playstation logo at the end of the Turok trailer?

Wait, we are laughing at how much better Crysis looks than Turok, right?

Re: Turok vs. Crysis
yea, both companies used a pretty lame intro to their trailers.... i found it amusing. hehe
whats really amazing though is that both these games are being released around the same time... Crysis makes turok look years old...
