Mormons really aren't ridiculous if you look at their actual beliefs and values.

people say mormons are strange because they believe "sacred undergarments" can protect them.

Catholics believe the same about the crucifix,

people criticize mormons for believing god/jesus/and holy spirit are 3 separate beings. Makes sense.

Catholics believe they are 3 parts of one being. So Jesus prays to himself? And talks about his Father in heaven, he's really just joking and talking about "me but with a different name"

People criticize mormons for praying with arms crossed. It's to look humbled. Everyone else prays with hand folded, and it looks more like begging than anything else.

People criticize mormons for thinking they can become more godlike as they progress. Just as a son, can one day become a father. What's the problem with that?

Everyone else believes that we were born to worship an arrogant god that just wants him to worship him all day long, and sing his praises.

Everyone criticizes mormons for being secretive about temple stuff, saying it is a cult.

The the new testament of the bible, it says "dont' cast your pearls before swine" probably talking about keeping your most precious things close to you and not presenting it to the world (who mainly won't appreciate such pearls).

Mormons "worship" joseph smith as much as catholics "worship" the pope.... which means they DONT worship him, just honor him.

People criticize mormons for believing magic seeing stones enabled Joseph to translate the golden tablets.

Catholics believe magic water can bless you, and magic incense can carry your prayers to heaven.

Lets not talk about inconsistancies in the book of mormon, because there are just as many in the bible. The first person to quote revalations, "anyone should add to this book..." gets punched.

Hell, I could go on for days. Point is, religions believe different things, and don't criticize shit you don't understand. Respect religion. Odds are you believe something just as far fetched in your own religion, or lack there of.

no, crash is not a mormon. but if i were to say who my favorite church is, I'd say the LDS. All things being equal, they do more good for people and are nicer people than any other church as a whole. No, they are not perfect, just the best I've been exposed to.

I will agree that this is a ridiculous mormon cartoon.

Something that I have learned over my MANY years of life, is not believe somebody's opinion until I have done my own research. All this is, is a group of people that are bitter against the LDS church.

Am I LDS? Yes I am. Am I offended by this cartoon... nope. Why should I be. I'm not going to point out all of the flaws in the cartoon, I'm not going to go into the wording they used to make the religion look inaccrate.

If anybody really wants to know what is out there, they are going to base their opinion off of facts. Going straight to the source. Not going to somebody that has built a hard heart towards it.

It's kind of like asking Hiliary Cliton if Video Games are good for our society. Guess what she is going to say!

I guess I laughed at the cartoon because serving in the Military I get questioned all the time about my beliefs. Most people do base their opinions off of the things like that. I've even gone as far to hear if the Mormons cut off their "horns" at birth.
