March Madness
Anyone following the NCAA tourney?
I'm looking for Georgetown to win it all.

Re: March Madness
I want to see where Ohio State ends up, mostly because of Oden.

Re: March Madness
Almost everyone in my office pool has GTown in the final two. Personally I think they're going down in flames. One guy confused A&M with A&M corpus christi and had them going all the way to the elite 8 haha.
I picked Maryland and NC in the final, so NC had better deliver the goods. I don't like Ohio St, but I need them to beat TN because I don't trust the Vols to beat Memphis, and Memphis must suffer. I hate them and everything they stand for.

Re: March Madness
I didn't fill out a bracket this time around. I don't really know why though. Last night my school, Pitt, lost to UCLA, but we all saw that happening. I haven't been following college basketball much this year.

Re: March Madness
I've got my bruins going all the way.
The only other team I can see winning would be Kansas.

Re: March Madness
My bracket kind of sucked this year. Picked way to many early round upsets. Only final 4 team Ihave left is Oregon. I had Texas winning it all...I thought Durant would catch fire and guide his team through, but I was surely wrong.

Re: March Madness
North Carolina and Georgetown just went into overtime. If the Hoyas win I have a perfect Final Four.

Re: March Madness
And they did! I'm hoping Georgetown wins it all...They completley embarassed NC in the overtime.

Re: March Madness
Yeah, I never thought NC would collapse like that. I really like Georgetown's coach, good guy.

Re: March Madness
My bracket is completely shot to hell. I've never seen a team just flat out choke like NC. That was simply amazing.
Though in other more uplifting news, I am pleased to announce that I have accepted the head coaching job for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The folks from College Hoops 2K7 made the offer yesterday and I accepted. My family and I are grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to returning the Razorback program to prominence in the NCAA.

Re: March Madness
Neo, should I invest in that game?
I love me some NBA 2k, but the college gameplay has always been a bit meh for me.
Oh, and lets go Bruins

Re: March Madness
Don't know yet.
Btw, I just found out that Arkansas's real coach was in fact actually fired yesterday, LOL. Life imitates art, or something.

Re: March Madness
Okay so it's a pretty cool game; It has good depth in that you can set all your defensive and offensive schemes, and you can change the amount of pressure applied to specific players. You can choose your assistant coaches and have them specialize in various areas like training or team unity. You can shoot the ball by pulling back on the right stick and then pushing forward at the right time. If you hold down the right trigger while doing this you can execute a dunk. There are more advanced layups and moves that I haven't gotten into yet. I don't really have the hang of the recruiting process yet but you have to balance recruiting and training..
The only problem I've seen so far is that you need a godd@mn magnifying glass to read the text.
