First Rev launch title announced?

I think a golf can should be interesting. Apparently from what I gathered on forums, it was/is a rip-off of the Hot Shots Golf games. Even using a similar line and deals something with some weird... er gay dude... I'm not quite sure on that one

Anyhow, on the plus side, I don't believe Tecmo released anything on the Cube or n64 so its a start.

I wonder if they would offer their backlog on the VC.. such as Tecmo Football.

I wonder what the controls would be like, for the golf game...it would be cool if you could grip the controller and swing it like an actual club...that would make Revolution an insta-purchase for me when I had the money

I think there's only ONE way to play a golf game on the Revolution.... and Stu just described it.

Enh, I'm a big fan of Mario Golf at heart. I don't know if I'd pick this up. This just seems like they're getting their foot in the door of the hype train.

I'm with Dyne. I refuse to play any sport title that doesn't feature my cast of favorite Nintendo mascots. Either Mario Golf or Pokemon golf. Anything else is just boring.

That pic reminds me a lot of the hub in Super Mario Sunshine.

And I agree with Stu, I think its the most logical way to control a golf game on the Rev. I would assume you could also implement more standard controls with the nunchuku attachment but who would't want to play a golf game like that.



Actually looking for the image, there seems to be a huge Tecmo hacker community out there.

Which just reminded me of something I've been wondering about w/ the Rev's Virtual Console. Is it possible like it is with ROMs for a developer or someone to allow you to download patches for certain games to unlock certain features that may or may not have been in the original. Like I know with No Mercy there was originally a Hell in a Cell planned for the game but was scrapped because they couldn't get it stabled. But over the years, The GameShark or w/e codes have been released for you to gain access to the Cell. So is it possible to get like a patch to play like No Mercy HiAC with updated rosters.. maybe online... ok dreaming here but till
