POP:The Two Thrones
Well I absolutley loved The Sands of Time, truely one of the best Cube games. Then Ubisoft crapped all over their great game with Warrior Within, an absolute joke compared to the original. I lost all respect for them. For this reason I wasnt really following the Two Thrones, but its been reviewd by IGN and behold! Tis more like Sands of time and less like Warrior Within! Im am now interested again.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
I'm interested in this one. I play both of the other ones. I prefered the first one over the second. I loved the platforming, but not so much the fighting.

Exactly. They took the fighting way overboard in the second. That and the entire style was just so mainstream craptastic, it was a disgrace to the original, in all honesty.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
Totally agree. It probably wouldn't have sold as well if the first one was as great as it was.
Apparently in the new one they are trying to focus on each equally.

yeah, sands of time and warrior within, I would have to agree with you 2, even though it took me about 5 months to beat it.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
Somehow The Sands of Time never drove me to play on. I could put that game away for weeks and then play a few hours again. But the ending was just fabulous. One of the best game endings.
Well, at least for what you expect.

Yea, the ending was perfect. It couldve ended with that one game, no sequals, and it wouldve gone down as the stuff of legends.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
So has anyone played this game yet? I'm quite a ways through it, and I must say it definitely feels like a return to form. I think I still prefer Sands of Time, but this game is definitely a close second and sh*ts all over Warrior Within.
Unfortunately, however, I'm at a boss right now which has got to be one of the most annoying and horribly designed boss battles ever. Literally 40 times I've attempted to beat it and still haven't won, all thanks to the game's poor battle system which is still pretty sloppy after 3 games.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
I should be getting it for Christmas. Yea, the fighting was never all that great, seemed kinda buggy, especially in Warrior Within.

****IF YOU DON'T WANT A SPOILER, JUST SKIP THIS WHOLE POST****
Is that the one with the axe and sword guys? Yeah, I hated that one. I ended up with only one sand tank when I got there, too.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
Yes, that boss was horrible, and when I got there I had no sand tanks. Piss me off proper, it did.
On another note, I finished the game. Pretty darn short if I do reckon so, but that's what you come to expect from games of this nature. Good wrap up of the "trilogy" (the franchise will continue in some way on the next gen systems), though I still think Sands of the Time is the bestest.

Re: POP:The Two Thrones
Ive been playing this one, and im really enjoying it a lot more than Warrior Within. Its still no Sands of time, but its a definate improvement. To be honest though, it wouldnt bother me if they made the next one basically all platforming and just did away with the fighting entirely. It just slows down the awsome platforming.
