Default ANIMAL CROSSING WILD WORLD

Sup guys.

So anyways Teuthida brought up an important point, and that is the release of

ANIMAL CROSSING: WILD WORLD

!!!!!

I put my reserve down yesterday in anticipation, and after reading the 6-7 page preview in Nintendo Power, I'm pretty much sold.

You can even change the look of your town! You can make it look like the moon. =o!

Discuss!

I've restricted myself from looking at any media of this game to fully immerse myself. Probably won't pick it up until after finals because if it's anything like the last game I won't have time for much else.

Yeah, I've also taken a media binge but the 7-pager was too tempting so I skimmed through.

Yeah, why did they have to release it on the first day of finals for me? It's a cruel, cruel joke.

I too... will have to keep my distance from this gem until December 16. But the second I finish my last class... I'll be dashing to the mall!

And Dyne, you have to get wireless setup at home before it's released so you, Dan, and myself can have more interaction with this then we've had with Mario Kart.

Indeed...but if anyone chops down my trees there will be hell to pay. And when I say hell to pay I mean a nasty wack in the head with my bug catching net.

It's getting to the point where this wireless router is going to be a Christmas Present, so you guys will have to wait. : (

And if you wait to get it until the 16/17th, I won't be going to school anymore. But I could always drive to my nearby mall whenever we want to play.

If you pass this test: http://www.nintendowifi.com/troubles...etworkTest.jsp

I just might be willing to buy you the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. An early present from your GT friend.

Well, I passed the test.

I'm flattered, GM. I would be very grateful if you decided to.

I'll be getting the game for christams. Im pretty stoked. I have a lot of questions though, such as:

Can you visit anyone else's town even when they are not online?

How many people can be in the town at the same time?

Can you "Live" in another persons town? Like could we have a GT town that all of us could live in?

1. No, you both have to be online and you both have to be searching friends.

2. 4 people can be in at once in one person's town; one town's host and 3 other people. If you want to play another person's town, they have to host.

You can also all chat and do things in the town. There's also multiple expressions you can win from an animal that visits sometimes. You'll only see the expressions if you're close up to them. If you're off somewhere else, you'll only see people's text.

3. No, but you can actually "move" your character to another town, which is actually really cool.

Also, mail is apparently set up so that you can't send it over the network.

And you can't play with random people.

There's also a sweet feature called the bottled letter. You drop it in the ocean, and put your DS into sleep mode. Whenever you come within the vicinity of another person in tag mode, their message could go to them. As well, they could get a constellation or one of your town's animals. And the other person doesn't pick it up, it could very well wash out to sea again and be picked up by someone else.

Guys, IGN has released the first twenty minutes of it.

I know I won't be watching it but I thought I'd let you know.
