Default Call of Duty 2

I just finished playing the Demo for this game, and all I have to say is "Holy Crap". They did it again. The game looks and sounds amazing. I have a better than average PC, but it should not be looking as good as Call of Duty makes it look. The smoke and particle effects are incredible and there was NO slowdown. The pace is frenetic, and I use "frenetic" because I can't think of any better description at this time. And once again, the enemy and friendly AI is some of the best you'll see, even if the enemy AI is once again somewhat predictable once you determine how they rotate reserve troops when you knock out machine gun nests and the like.

The first Call of Duty was edge of your seat action and storytelling, and the second looks to be more of the same. I can't wait until its released.

I liked the first Call of Duty. A lot. In my mind, it's still the best World War II shooter out there.

It's just that after spending time with two of my uncles who both have Xboxes and playing Call of Duty (which sucks on consoles, I know, but they don't know the difference) and Medal of Honor and Brothers in Arms, I'm about ready to move on. I understand that Call of Duty 2 is pretty, but why else should I even bother with it?

Well I downloaded and played the COD2 demo, and I must say, the engine is quite impressive. I can run the game very smoothly with my computer that is begining to show signs of age.

So a group of players is threatening to go on strike unless the game developer provides concrete information about some fixes and things. I haven't been following Call of Duty 2's development, so does anybody know what their problem is? I've heard vague murmurs that the online component is pretty buggy and that it's also very bad on Xbox Live. But hopefully, somebody here can clear that up for me.
