Dragon Quest VIII: The Perfect Ending **SPOILER**

Okay well I beat Dragon Quest VIII yesterday and got an awesome ending. Of which I was disappointed in how the Hero ended things with his life. But i noticed at the end of the credits they showed an altar with a statue of a Dragon on it. Of course being Dragon Quest, that had something to do with the Hero. The game obviously saved right before Rhapthorne's battle for a reason at the end.

I loaded the end-game save, (it has a star on it) and decided to look for this altar. By golly I found the altar, and played through another storyline, another couple of hours.

After playing the Dragon Altar storyline it appears that our HERO is a Dragovian. A race which exists in human form and dragon form (go figure). His mother is a Dragovian and his father is none other than King Eltrio of Argonia. The story was Xia the Dragovian, fell in love with Eltrio and they both were to wed, but Xia's father forbade it. Eltrio fought desperately in the Dragon Altar to pursue Xia but died along the way. Resulting in King Clavius' inauguration. Xia's father... Chen Mui... is also Munchie.....whose been following you on your adventures since you were born.

You receive Eltrio's Argon Heart Ring... You can only guess... At the ending with the wedding between Medea and Charmles....You will convince King Clavius of your origins and that you are the TRUE heir and rightful groom.

The happy ending is... The Hero and Medea finally get married...........................as if you didn't see this coming..... you'll need to play this after you beat the game once to see this happen.
