screens look like n64 or better... they must add some kinda mic/ touchscreen support that is worth something!! check out the screens. seems that some rooms are prerendered, and some not ....maybe

here are the big fat blown up images from a mag scan.

N64 or better? It looks about on par with the PS1 version...

Anyways, the touch screen features (that we know of so far) are wiping blood splatter off of the camera, using it for puzzle solving, and random zombie encounters (called "Knife battle" or something) that sometimes happen when you walk through doors...

I'm not really down on all the info with DS cartridges, but is it safe to assume the game won't have the voice-overs? Because the voice-overs are half of what makes the original so damn awesome...

As for wether or not the game is 3D or pre-rendered, nobody seems to be sure... But it just seems odd that it'd use the exact same camera angles (and identical backgrounds) as the PS1 version if the game is rendered in 3D...

PSP fanatics will proclaim the graphics suck and it will fail and the DS fanatics will rabidly fight back.

I'll buy this when its hit the "bargain bin". Its nice to see Capcom hasnt reamed Nintendo completely after the RE4 fiasco but I suspect they will give PSP a mucho better one

It's hot. I'd hit it.

The gameplay'll probably something to shake your stylus at for sure.

Capcom once managed to fit an entire Resident Evil game, with FMVs and voices and all, onto an N64 cartridge. I don't see that they would be unable to do the same for the DS.

It still surprises me they were able to do that on the N64. The impossible was deemed possible by Capcom albeit if you used a TV above 13/19 inches, the movies looked like utter crap

Oh right! I had forgotten about that... Good show, Capcom!

Now if only you'd have saaay made a new game, or even ported a game that hasn't already had....... *counts*

PS1
Saturn
PS1 Director's Cut
PC
Gamecube Remake...

5 versions released... Which is beside the point, I just find it silly :>

How come the bad guys in this game look more 'zombified' than the bad guys in RE4 on Gamecube?

In response to one of the pictures, the blood spatters looks really, really pixelated.

Well, it could be the fact that the people in RE4 weren't zombies. They were just inhabited by mind-controlling parasites.
