Disk Defragmenter

I am in the midst of running this on our PC for the first time and I see it's moving some of my sister's MP3 files. Will she be unable to play her songs through Limewire later because they've been relocated?

Also, how often should someone run this? And does it really help improve performance as advertised?

it's recommended you run it once a month...and it only relocates the files on the physical HDD, as in...the files still stay in the folders and such, but the data is moved from place to another in the HDD.

so to answer your questions:

yes, she will still be able to play them, and yes, it does slightly improve performance, especially if you have a large HDD.

I'm assuming disk cleanup should be run once a month too?
