Is it me, or are next generation consoles getting a little fruity?

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
Well, a poll ready can't determine which is more powerful. One is more than the other...not an opinion. That being said:

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
from what I've seen, PS3 footage has looked quite a bit more impressive than XBox 360 footage.
I'm curious as to who picked XBox 360, and why?

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
That would be Crash and Gamemaster, and I can only imagine why, considering they they posted.
That aside, thats not the final controller design. One of my friend's attended the Press Conference, and he saw 5 other controllers on the table but pictures were not allowed at that table. Because they were concept designs. They put the Moon or Banana controller with the PS3 as the concept final.

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
Is that controller serious???????? It looks absurd... Why change the form that's stood for 10 years without giving anything extra? Unless it has things I can't see.

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
ya know looking at that picture, it doesn't look too big.. prongs may be long but the controller may be overall smaller then usual.

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
The prongs probably make reaching the analog sticks feel more nature.

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
the more I look at the PS3 controller design, the more it makes sense
It looks like any hand size would fit nicely. If you have long fingers, you can slide your hands further down the prongs than someone with shorter fingers without any kind of discomfort.

I stopped looking at the controller and imagined myself holding it.... And i must say the awkward contours of the controller makes it as if it were a very comfortable playing experience.
Remember they have I M S -- Isolated Motion Sensor... the rumble technology for certain parts of the controller, making a more immersive experience. So they may have the motors on long prongs.
But imagine holding the controller.... It seems as if the prongs really don't bother anything.

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
I'm just not a fan of the analog sticks. GC and Xbox's had a better feel to them.

Re: PS3 vs. Xbox 360
This picture helps me in my theory a little better. To Ken Kutaragi the PS3 looks a bit big, but he's a small man... To Kaz Hirai is was about the size of a PS2. Now look at the controller...
Compared to the unit next to it... it can't be that big.
