Re: Xbox 360 Screens
I'm not as impressed by these as I was of the close up of the car from Project Gotham 3. They look good.. but they don't look as spectacular as I was expecting. Of course, they aren't full screens, and they seem a little blurry, so I'm going to reserve final judgement until later.

Re: Xbox 360 Screens
second picture looks like Kameo maybe? Lots of geometry, but crap textures.... top picture could be this generation too.

Bleach! Absolutely horrendous! I've seen better on Dreamcast and N64.
Waiter! Take this back and bring me my check. I've suddenly lost my appetite.

Re: Xbox 360 Screens
You can tell from the grass in the new one that is way more advanced than the last picture. However, I also agree that the textures should be a little better than that.

Re: Xbox 360 Screens
In any case, single blades of grass is pretty advanced compared to the green texture maps of this gen.

Believe it or not, the technique for blades of grass isn't that difficult for even older hardware to do (unless each blade of grass has its own independent physics effects). It's just not often implemented. But I see what you're saying.
