Superman Returns 2005
Check this out:

This Brandon Routh looks WAY TOO MUCH like the young Christopher Reeves.

Re: Superman Returns 2005
The suit doesn't look right. The red isn't quite red...reminds me of Bizarro's suit. And then there's the 'S' in the belt...and the'S' on his chest is too small...and his undies for a lack of a better word are also too small...the boots are also much shorter...it's like they couldn't find a suit in his size.

Re: Superman Returns 2005
they filmed a few sets of the city in sydney central a few weeks back. Everyone got excited looking at the new superman run through the local streets. The vendors and shop owners werent very happy though...they blocked all the streets and entrys...no one had business the entire day

Re: Superman Returns 2005
In Clark Kent form, he looks a lot like Christoper Reeve. In Superman form though, he has his own exclusive 'look'.
I think the blander shade of colors for his suit are supposed to reflect the early era Superman of the original comics.

Re: Superman Returns 2005
Apparently with the S up higher on the chest it will be more visible while flying.

Re: Superman Returns 2005
^ Then why make it smaller? See...should really have a banner trailing behind him like planes do...

Re: Superman Returns 2005
Well if that was the case then everyone would think it WAS a plane instead of saying,
"It's a bird, it's a plane... no... it's superman!"
If with a banner they'd say,
"It's a plane! ....... Yep it is"
LOL

I have one question involving that saying. Who says something when they say a bird or a plane flying?

It's apparent that you don't the joke... it's a famous saying by ignorant pedestrians when Superman flies by to save the day. FICTIONAL

Re: Superman Returns 2005
Before UFO sightings were commonplace one have would list off all the things they could think of that flew trying to figure out what that thing in the sky was. If one were to see Superman in this day in age they would say "It's a UFO...wait a minute. Nope, it's Superman." Since before they realize that the flying thing in the sky is indeed Superman he is an unidentified flying object...or a weather balloon.
