Default Xbox 360 design right under our noses?

Over on the Team Xbox forums “McNasty04” has made a startling discovery:

“After reading the description of the supposed design of the next xbox. I noticed something when I went to look at something on xbox.com. Something about the design of the site caught my eye. In the article the person talks about how it will be able to stand on its side and is concave in the middle aka “sucking in its cheeks”. Could the xbox 360 design have been in front of our faces this whole time? I am just merely brining this up because I found it interesting and thought it might interest a few of you.”

well. see the problem with that, is if its lying on his side, the back curve is higher then the front curve, the unit would be poinging in a doward angle. not really something you want your CD spinning angle to be.

However its very possible it could be close to that.

You're right, Dan. It appears to be a side view of an upright standing Xbox 360. What an ingenius way to reveal the design right under the nose's of gamers. It looks pretty cool. It appears to have vents on top and underneath. I guess all that heated power has to release somewhere.

I look foward to seeing other views as well as some photos of the actual product.
