I took the plunge
So, a few weeks ago, I finally plunked down a bunch of cash for a trip to Colorado this summer. Round-trip flight, and a hotel room. I think that just about says it all. It would also be my first time ever spending money on a trip like this. Only three people going. Me, myself, and I.
I'm also going to order a digital camera from Dell tomorrow. Then in a couple of months, I might get myself a laptop to take with me on my trip.
So, name your biggest purchases, good or bad.

Re: I took the plunge
My family just dropped 11,000 for a semi-new car that's basically for me....
I won't really be paying it, but that's 1000 out of my pocket each year for insurance. I plan to drop about 1700-2000 on a computer this year as well.

Re: I took the plunge
I'm planning on getting an MP3 player soon, although I doubt it will be an Ipod.
I need to get a 40gig Ipod....I have 2,800 songs on my computer, taking up 12gigs of space, and I have 800 CDs in my room that eventually will be ripped. I figured I'm near the 30gig mark with my collection right now, and I can probably add 10 more gigs during college (I'm a Junior in high school right now). That'll probably be my next big investment.

Re: I took the plunge
Yeah, most expensive things I've ever bought are game consoles, and I don't really consider that a great financial plunge. I'm going have to fork over a pretty huge sum of money for a lawyer soon though, which sucks, but there is no choice.
