Re: Bill Gates = Stud
Yeah, I've seen those pictures before. I would pose on my desk like that too if I became as successful as him. He's only leaving $10 million to his kid(s). The rest is going to charity. Even though $10 million is a lot, I'd still feel angry if I was one of the kids. I mean, if you can give them a dream life, why wouldn't you? You can only do so much with $10 million before you have to actually start watching what you spend.

Re: Bill Gates = Stud
$10 Million heh, you'd be able to stick it in an account and make $1 Million a year by sitting of your butt...
What??? that's only $84,000 a month and $2800 a day... how can anyone live off that?

Re: Bill Gates = Stud
Is that actually Bill Gates or a look-a-like?
Seriously, I haven't actually scrutinised his face thoroughly before so I only have a vague idea how he looks like. >.<

Are you kidding me??? If you want to spoil a few lives, give them $10 million.
Even the kids of Bill Gates need to learn to work.

If its in a CD. Davings accounts generally only pay out less than 2% for really good ones and checking accounts are only a fraction of 1%.

Re: Bill Gates = Stud
a short term cd pays out like 2%, a savings account with a million, probably 2.5%, an annuity willl give you probably 5% but what I meant is a variable annuity which gives you between 10-15% realistically over a 20+ year period

Maybe in a CD.
You probably can get like 4 or 5% on a RothIRA.
And there are some high yield stocks that might net you 7 or 8% But those carry more risk.
Edit: strangler and crash got here first
