It wasnt 5 by the end of this year, its 5 in two years. And I think its a little past one year since the deal (I could be wrong). It looks like they wont make it, but its rare, so putting faith in that remark was your first mistake.
Also, there is nothing to say PD wont come out on XBox if all consoles come out winter 06' as rumored. It could be the title that holds people over till xbox 2.
And if Rare is currently making it for xbox and then chooses to put it on xbox 2, they are gunna want to update it ala SFA
