Well, most of them have.

Anyway, I agree with you to an extent, but there's not really much to be done. People will post what they want to post. GameTavern does have a post-cramming rule, but the current interpretation is that a member is not post-cramming if his posts contribute something to the discussion. This is a difficult thing to determine, and I'm a conservative moderator anyway. So what ends up happening is people get away with it.

I subscribe to the view that nobody values post counts around here that much anyway. Without naming names, I can safely say that a lot of people with post counts in the thousands don't have nearly as much respect from other members as some people who have just a few hundred posts. By and large, I think people here recognize the value of quality over quantitity. So if you want to make lots of useless posts and be perceived by everyone as a shallow, non-essential permanent newbie, be my guest.
