Funny most of us started the same, but look where we've all ended up.
Alright, let me be honest, since you guys have. I never liked Sony that much from the beginning. They sounded like the antagonist of the gaming world, and they had nintendo's balls with the game rights AND the SNES sound chip production. I only read bad stuff about them. It wasn't propaganda, it was the truth. Nintendo had to struggle with them the whole generation. When I learned they finally took the last chance to show the SNES CD rom at E3 one year, and brought the Super FX chip instead, and Sony announced that new platform, I backed off. I didn't want any part of it. I can say N64 wasn't the console it shouldn't have been, but it was great by my standards. God, so many goldeneye memories. I started to resent sony. Since square had created different games on it, I finally concluded to check it out. I played FFs on my friend's playstation. Not too long ago I bought the PSone, and Chrono Cross, and the two Final Fantasies. (and Suikoden), and I have to admit they made a good console. So I proceeded to the PS2, but unfortunately, I had nothing but bad experiences. It was first gen, FFX/MGS2/GTA3 weren't out yet, the games were alright, the system acted up horribly, and when I talked to the Sony reps, of course they treated me like ****. That was it for me. I swore it off, got Gamecube the next christmas, and here I am. Bought XBox. I'm close to buying another PS2... the price is reasonable again. Hopefully this time it will be better.
You know, you can't escape being biased. Everyone's biased.. I'm multiplatform and I still have favourites and hates.
