New game developed by Pandemic Studios with help from the US Army, and published by THQ. Coming to Xbox in Q1 2004.
The game is a tactical, squad-based modern military shooter. It is taking squad based shooters to a whole new level. FSW will allow you to command troops like you never have before. Talking to a friend of mine who attended E3, and this game goes as far as allowing you to the different members of your squad cover a side of the building, or even cover specific doorways and windows, and from what I hear, all done beautifully on the Xbox controller. The US Army has had a lot of input into this game. supposedly there's even plans to give this game to every member of the armed forces, and that means me
This will allow the soldiers to still think strategically, even on their off time.
Aside from that, the game looks amazing. I'm shocked by what I see. I truly can't wait for this game to come out. And guess who's doing the voice for the trailer? My hero, R. Lee Ermey. OORAH!
