Unfortuantely the AKI engine doesn't really exist anymore. Even the AKI developed Def Jam game sped up the engine to the point where it was very difficult to perform an aerial move.
I'm afriad we're all going to have to get used to the modern day engines that speed games up so that they resemble fighting games. Its not realistic or even that fun IMO, but it sells.
Now Anchor claimed they are revamping the engine to make it much more of a sim, but I'll have to play it before I'll believe it.
