2) They don't paint the plastic, that's just the color it is. It's just a matter of chemicals. So it's possible this is slightly cheaper to make, but not much if at all.

WTF... I always thought it was BLACK. I mean I had my X-Box for what... more than a year and thought it was always black.
IMO a see through little blue/green (color of the ocean) X-Box would be great... and with a light job... it would be killer.
